Seminar or WebinarThe "Management for HO.RE.CA. Program" seminars are held in two ways: a) Seminar hold within Bar Academy of Athens b) Online (webinar) via ZOOM platform. The webinar version of the seminar is conducted live by our instructors and the presence of the students is necessary on the days and times of the scheduled seminar. The training provided is exactly the same in both ways. |

Module 2: Human Resources Management – Training & Development – Health & Safety
The purpose of the educational Module 2 is to acquire basic theoretical knowledge for the organization and management of Ηuman Resources, including a separate chapter on training and development, as well as analyzing the philosophy of the performance process. One of the responsibilities of the Human Resources Department is to ensure the employees` Health and Safety conditions, for which, theoretical and practical advice are given for the entire range of required actions, especially for employees in the hospitality field.
After completing Module 2, participants will be able to:
⁕ Recognize the responsibilities of the Human Resources Department
⁕ Understand the importance of Human Resource planning for the business
⁕ Discriminate specifications from job description
⁕ Recognize the importance of training in businesses regardless of size
⁕ Distinguish the difference in staff training and development
⁕ Be informed about new staff training trends
⁕ Plan the training process of a company
⁕ Understand the importance of Health & Safety in the workplace and especially in hospitality and catering
⁕ Identify the dangers of not following hygiene rules with detailed instructions, from proper hand washing to general food safety rules to avoid food poisoning
Certificate of Attendance .
A successful "Participant Assessment" is required in order to receive "Educational Program Attendance Certificate" which includes:
- Participation in all program presentations
- Completion and submission of assignments/exercises
- Evaluation of sufficient understanding of the material by the instructors .
The "Certificate of Attendance" is not awarded until the "Participant Evaluation" is successfully completed. Students may repeat the program, as per the “free repeat” policy - contact us for more information.
